Marvin has done it.
The inspection is done. The appraisal came in on target. Underwriting has cleared.
Now there’s only one thing left: closing day.
He’s been waiting for this moment — and it’s finally here.
Rico watches Marvin grin as he holds the folder with all his documents.
Marvin: “Rico, it’s happening. Closing day is tomorrow. I’m actually going to be a homeowner!”
Rico: “Look at you, Marvin! You made it! How are you feeling?”
Marvin: “Excited. Nervous. A little uncertain. But mostly — excited.”
Rico: “Ah, I am really happy for you. So what happens tomorrow?”
Juli’s Tip:
“Closing day is the finish line — the moment you’ve been working toward. Here’s what to expect:”
Marvin: “So I’ll get the keys at the closing?”
Rico: “Yes! That’s the best part. You walk in, sign the papers, and walk out with the keys to your own home.”
Marvin: “I can’t believe it. I’ve been dreaming about this moment for a very long time.”
Rico: “Congratulations, my friend! How do you want to celebrate?”
Marvin: “I’m going to order a large pizza and we can eat it on the floor of my living room. And then we will dance all night long.”
Rico: “That sounds awesome. Can’t wait!”
